A little something :)
I actually got to do a little fun desktop design, last night!! I hadn't done anything "illustrated" in quite a while, so it was fun to work with the colors and whimsical style :)

The kids are having a GREAT Summer, so far! They have been playing with their friends just about every day...which means more kids over here, but they are all great guys, so it's cool :) I was getting tired of having to feed them lunch all the time, though, so I've now tried to send them home more so we can eat as a family, and have a little break from company =P Tim took them to the pool yesterday, and I took them a few days before that...and, of course, they would love for us to take them every day...I just don't like the sun all that much...blah :(

Tim's back is so-so...he still has pain and now it's in his left leg, instead of the right. He wants to get another MRI done. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up having another surgery... He's gone back to work, this last week. He works 4 hours at work, and 4 hours here at home :)

The Regal Family Film Festival has started!! We've missed the first two weeks, but are going to start going this week...it was such a blast, last Summer :) I'm waiting for them to post the movie list on the site, but so far, they haven't. They will probably have the list AT the movie place...

Well, we've had 2 little kittens here, in the house, for the past 2 weeks. They are going bye-bye today though...I am taking them to the Humane Association at 1pm :( They are from the neighborhood next to us, and they are SO adorable!!! Most of the cats around here are dark grey/brown and tiger striped. Well...these two little sisters are white based...Lily has little calico brown and grey spots on her, and Rosie has patches of red tabby stripes...they are simply precious!!!! I wish we coudl keep them, but Josh is having allergic reactions...mainly trouble breathing and a lot of coughing at night. The only reason we tested this out to see if we could have the kittens is because I have friends who are really allergic to cats, but they have had kittens that are really young, and they have adjusted to them and been just fine! I was REALLY hoping that it would be that way for Josh, but nope...it's a no-go :( Oh well...it was fun while it lasted :) I thought one or both of them might end up finding a new home early. I got a phone call on Friday from a woman who was wanting a kitten for her daughter. Long story short...I met up with her, she thought Rosie was too frisky, we went back home. This woman had never had a cat before, and the poor kittens were terrified by all of the cars and people that were going by at the place we met! To be honest with you, I'm happy she didn't end up wanting either one of them...I want them to be together as long as possible, and she wasn't wanting to take them both. So...all of that crying for nothing...but today, I'm sure Abby and I will be bawling our eyes out again when the time comes for me to take them to the Human Assoc. :(

Well, that's what's been going on around here! I'm going to skidaddle off and get out of this chair...the kittens are clawing all over me...using me as a scratching post =P lol

Your illustrated desktop is beautiful! I love how your style has evolved-- you're an excellent illustrator. And the sentiment is so encouraging, something I need to keep in mind. Great work!

Hi Babe,
just wanted to drop in and say "Hi"! Love the desktop, girlie. :) You sound like you're having a busy summer, eh? Happy 4th of July to you and your family!

What a beautiful desktop! I'm sorry the kitten thing didn't work out, though I certainly understand. Hubby grew up in a mostly animal-free house. He got a bit of a shock marrying me. *G*.

Hi Jenn! Gosh, it has been ages since I have left a comment. I wished I could have adopted those kittens from you :( We adopted a puppy for our daughter about 1 month ago. Hope your hubby is feeling better and you're getting a break from all the kids. Have a great day :)
