I was looking for this link for a friend, and thought I'd post it here too. It's a government site where you can sign up to no longer receive telemarketer calls. This really DOES work. I signed up for it in July of 2003, and I haven't received any of those calls since. Now I do still get the credit card company calls, but they are with companies we are already associated with. It's wonderful :) Here's the linkaroo: https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx It is effective for, I think, 5 years, and then you have to submit your phone number again.
