New design :)

I was getting tired of the generic Blogger templates, and decided to use one of Lizzy's wonderful Blog Frocks! I've always adored Lizzy's fairy photos :) Thanks Lizzy!

I am still working on getting my reading list links posted...if you don't see yourself there yet, and you visit me regularly, please do not be offended. I will get around to adding all of you soon! :D Also, anyone can now leave me a comment. I dropped the Blogger comments and opted for a free account over at SquawkBox.

I've been tweaking my Joyful Heart Designs main site design today. Tim is always so helpful with the professional aspects of my designs. It's nice to have a second opinion on things ;)

The kids are enjoying being out of school! I watched two kids that we know from church, last week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. On Wednesday, my neighbor and I took all of the kids to Chuck E. Cheese's! We stayed there about five hours, and had a blast :) We've been going to our subdivision's pool just about every day too. We are also working on the kids' Summer reading list. They need to read 50 books this Summer in order to get a special prize from their First grade teacher, at the beginning of the next school year. Abigail has already read several, and we've decided she can read on her own...but Joshua still has to read to us so we can help him with his reading style and pronouncing words ;)

Tim and I are working on planning a half-birthday party for the kids. We had one the year before last, in August, and the kids loved it. It's hard to throw a birthday party in December, so we are opting for the Summer, and will do a small family cake party on the kids' actual birthdays...which are December 12th and December 15th :)

That's about it for this update. I'm sure more exciting stuff will happen in the next few weeks for me to blog about...beware.... :P
