We went to the Awana kick-off, last night! The kids are officially signed up for Sparks :) We are going to start learning the Sparks motto: A friend for Christ, and we will be learning John 3:16 for next week. I plan on incorporating their Awana work in with the daily home schooling. I think that will work well :) My Five in a Row book got here on Monday! We will be starting that soon, too. I didn't realize that you have to get certain books from the library...I thought the stories were included in the FiaR book. So, that means a trip to the library today!

I just finished cutting Joshua's hair! He really needed it...I have been trimming up the edges, every few weeks, knowing that he really just needed a big buzz. He doesn't enjoy the hair cut, but he looks so handsome now :) Bath time is next...but I am waiting for the washing machine to be done so the water temperature won't be all freaky on us when I give them a bath. Then it's off to the library, to Blockbuster, Kmart, grocery shopping...then back home to do school, and then house work! Whew!! This will be a busy day! The kids' closet is in desperate need of a revamping. There are a lot of clothes in there that they no longer fit into. I think I'll try to get some nice ones together for a future garage sale...
