Thanks for the birthday wishes!! My birthday went okay...

The kids' party went really well. They had a blast playing in these cool pirate ship pools that Tim found on clearance for just $15 each! Wow...I just found the exact pool selling for a lot more, here! lol It's always nice to find out that you got a good deal on something ;) Tim also bought some canopy tents and had the side yard set up so that there could be different teams for certain games.

OH!! Sara found an apartment!!!! She'll be starting to move on Tuesday :) The dining room table situation didn't come through :( Laurie had told me about this couple who were wanting to sell some furniture, and it looked like we might be able to get a table and 6 chairs for only $150. Too good to be true, I guess. After a week of phone calls back and forth with the guy, he ended up selling the furniture to a permanently handicapped relative who had it rough financially. I was bummed, but at least his relative can really use it, and probably needs it more than we do.

Homeschooling is going so well, right now!!! The kids have such wonderful attitudes, and it makes it so much easier to teach them :) We are almost finished with the K5 curriculum! I've been schooling them through the Summer to make up for the times that I was on pain killers, last year, and wasn't awake enough to teach them! lol Better scoot and get started on today's schooling :)
