We had a busy day yesterday. We went to church and Walmart Supercenter. When we got home in the afternoon, I was unlocking the front door and the kids noticed a bunch of bugs hatching out of an egg case ABOVE us! EEEKK!! I was freaked and finally got the door unlocked and all of the groceries in. I thought that they were baby wasps maybe, but we found one inside the house on the front door, this morning! I had bought some little bugcatchers for the kids, while we were in Texas, and they have a magnifying plastic thing on the top and side. I caught the bug and we discovered that they were actually praying mantis babies!! The one we caught is so cute :) So the egg case started out looking like this...then the babies look similar to this one, but smaller since they were just hatched yesterday...and they will end up like this! The one we caught is a lot cuter though. It has pretty yellow and black on it's legs :)

We also have new kittens in the neighborhood!! They were underneath our back deck all day yesterday :) There are three of them, and they are so fluffy and adorable!!! Unfortunately, they are strays, and they are terrified of humans...just like their mom :(
