My right calf is pretty sore this morning. My right ankle is the one I broke (warning: kind of gross pictures if you follow that link)...WOW!! Exactly ONE YEAR AGO TODAY! May 19th was the tragic day last year when my life changed forever...or atleast a few years :p So anyway, the achilies tendon is still somewhat stiff, and I can only bring my foot towards me to a certain extent. Well, this morning I was woken up three times with those killer Charlie Horses (leg cramps)!!!! I used to get those a lot in high school after volleyball and cheerleading practice...or a game. I'd always wake up in PAIN as my muscle twisted around in my leg...ouch! I even had the calf muscle twist around to the top of my calf once...it was pretty freaky! Soooo...I wasn't doing any athletic stuff yesterday, and I ended up getting some major charlie horses this morning, in my sleep. The way I usually get rid of them is to point my toes towards me as far as I can, and then I rub my hands down my leg, towards my foot, to kind of loosen the muscles. This always works fairly quickly...it's not a patented idea, feel free to use it ;) Unfortunately, I could only bring my foot towards me to a certain extent this morning. I ended up having to rub it down instead. (I hope I don't get a lot of Google references now :p) So, all that to say that my leg is sore today. lol
I need to start getting everyone's clothes ready for church, and myself. Better scoot...
