Well, the wall is still there this morning...I was afraid that we'd wake up and the entire beam would be eaten up by the termites!! Some of them tried to fly around last night. I found two on the hard wood floor at the front entrance...they were dead though. Last night was bug night in the kitchen. I was sitting at the computer during an Oscar commercial break, and found one termite on the island, one on the floor, then a nasty spider that I asked Tim to come down and kill for me and finally there was a long centipede crawling across the floor! What's up bugs?? Why do you have to come into my house??? lol THIS is what I hate about Spring :p

Zehava, that stuff around the termites is the plaster/wood that they have chewed-up to tunnel their way out of the wall. At first, Tim thought it was some sort of weirdo spider web, but then he and the kids found a termite on the dining room floor and with closer inspection he found the little buggers tunneling there. ICK ICK ICK!!!! Okay, I MUST get some coffee now...
