I had my first ever "celebrity" sighting yesterday at Walmart Supercenter!! I saw Lisa Whelchel who played Blair Warner on The Facts of Life! Actually, it was her daughter Haven that I noticed first. She was so cheerful and excited about certain food items that I just had to giggle... I'll spare you all of the details, but I did end up talking to her and telling her that I thought her daughter was adorable and so full of joy. She smiled, and I don't remember her really saying anything. The poor gal was probably afraid I was going to call her Blair or start singing the Facts of Life themesong to her! I played it cool though...but I had the themesong stuck in my head for the next four hours!! lol I could not get that silly song out of my brain... One cool thing: Lisa homeschools her three children and has written a book about discipline (Creative Correction) that I am interested in getting. It gives parents other options for disciplining their kids than just spankings and time outs.

Anyhoo...that was yesterday's excitement. Today has been a morning full of homeschooling and organizing/cleaning the house. Tim and I did quite a bit of cleaning on Saturday, but there is still a lot of mess around here from my unfinished jobs. Sooo...I better skidaddle off and get busy ;)
