My car is running again!! My Daddy came into town today and spent about 7 hours here with us! He's a truck driver and is sometimes able to drive through here :) He checked the battery for us and sure enough, we needed to clean the connectors on it. He had to do that last Summer when the car wasn't starting for Mom. I need to go and get an oil change and get all of the fluids checked this next week. I'm kind of nervous though because I haven't taken a car to get the oil changed in 7 years!! Tim has always done is since we've been married! lol I know it's no biggie...but still, I'm always afraid that I won't have them do the right stuff, OR that I'll have them do too much stuff!! I want to get into a regular habit of getting the car's maintenance checks done every few months though. It's in really great shape for a '92, and I would love it if it could last us several years too ;)

Daddy brought a bunch of goodies with him that Mom had packed up for us yesterday!! There were TONS of toys for the kiddos that my little sister didn't want anymore. They had a hay-day looking at all of the *new* toys! I had my own mini-trip down memory lane today too! Mom sent the old cardboard record case that has several old 45 records in it!!! I used to listen to all of them when I was a wee thing... So now I have my Lady & the Tramp record and several of the old 45 book sets that have a story book & a record all in one! One of them is missing the record and I'm kinda bummed about that. It was one of my favorites :( I'm hoping Mom will find it around her house or maybe that Nana & Popa will have it at their house. We had bought a turntable so we could listen to records recently, but decided to return it and just *hopefully* find a cheaper one at a garage sale this Summer. It would be so cool to sit down and listen to my old records with my kids!!!

My webpage situation hasn't gotten much better... Something is now messed up over at my original @home site now. I did get a new design up though! So that's one happy thing :)
