Howdy y'all :) Today was a busy day for us! I had an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon at 8:46am...not 8:45...8:46...lol They always have some weird time that they book you under. Anyhoo, all went well. Bones look like they are all healed nicely, the four screws are still in place and holding my one bone together...ick at the thought of that! He referred me for another 4 weeks of physical therapy!!! I'm excited about that ;) I went to work out with Laurie and Diane for the first time today! We were supposed to meet at 10am, but it ended up that Laurie over slept so it wasn't until after 11 that we actually got to go in the pool and such. I was really hoping that they work out room there would be good for me, but the one bike I tried was really weird. It didn't help that I had slippery black pants on and kept sliding off the seat! The other bike had a seat that had to have been a slab of concrete covered by cheap pleather. There is no way I could survive 30 minutes on THAT bike. The weight machines weren't what I expected :( The one for the legs was hitting right on my skin graft area so I can't do that until I figure out how to adjust it. I gave up and got in the pool with Laurie and the kiddos :) Of course I couldn't find my swim suit last night or this morning, so I had to wear a pair of bike shorts and a tank top!! lol Luckily, there really wasn't anyone else there to witness this... The kids had a blast swimming! They swam for about an hour or so and didn't want to get out! It's an inside pool (obviously!) and the water was like a warm bath...very nice ;) We hung out in the club house when we were done and chatted a bit, then headed over to Taco Bell to consume more calories than we had burned in our work out sessions! lol It was a great time and we plan on doing it Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week.

Oh!! Joshua FINALLY lost that loose tooth from a few months ago!! He was eating a banana before church yesterday morning (yes, we actually made it back to church!!!!) and the tooth just popped out! Tim had tried to pull it for Josh a few days ago, but it hurt Josh and poor Tim felt horrible about it :( So, we put the tooth in a little baggie and did the whole Tooth Fairy thing last night! It was really fun :) :) I want to scan in the letter I wrote to Josh, which is supposed to be from the Tooth Fairy ;) I wrote in all swirly letters and decorated the page borders with colored pencils and some glitter. Tim bought him a new Power Ranger and got it put together and found some three packs of Pop Rocks...one for Josh and one for Abby :) He put everything under Joshua's pillow, and boy was Josh excited this morning!!!!! Now Abigail can't wait to lose a tooth ;)
