I had a fun time last night!! FX was showing all of the Halloween episodes of Buffy and I was able to just sit here and cross stitch...too fun!! The kids both went to bed at 7pm last night. That is their normal bedtime for the fall & winter. In the summer when the time "springs forward" their bed time is supposed to be switched to 8pm. I don't always make it to 8pm though...some nights I just have to lay them down earlier!!! lol They were both pretty tired last night so there wasn't any fighting about bed time :) They are both feeling just fine today too! I was afraid Abby would be majorly sick this morning since last night was so rough for her. I guess the Tylenol Cold really knocked out those germies! She still sounds a little congested, but nothing like yesterday's sickness.
She started her own "magazine" yesterday afternoon! She got three pages of white printer paper and I folded them in half for her then stapled the edges together. She has decorated the front and has started on the back too. She is really into these stencils we have. She drew a bunch of animal dolls over the weekend and used the stencils for every part of their bodies! They are adorable! Unfortunately, I can't find that paper now!!! I think it is safely buried here next to me in my huge pile of necessities I have accumulated on the floor :) I also have a big basket of clothing here for me and the kiddos so it looks extra cluttered and junky. Not a pretty site...
Right now Abby is sitting next to me and is making some groovy candy canes out of brightly colored pipe cleaners! This is an idea she came up with on her own on Tuesday afternoon :) She's making a purple and orange one right now! Josh is running around and being goofy...as usual ;) I didn't do any homeschooling with them yesterday. I was just too tired to concentrate and have patience with them. I'm doing a bit better today, but still don't feel all that hot. So, I'm not sure if we will work on anything today either. Luckily, Tim has come to the conclusion that it is okay if I miss a few days during my sickly time :)
