I am watching the coolest story on Animal Planet's "Wild Rescues" show. There is a program called the Prisoner Pet Partnership Program. The program saves dogs from shelters and they are then sent to prison...doesn't sound all that great, huh? lol In prison, they are trained by the prisoners to learn how to help out disabled people! What a wonderful idea this is! The dogs get a second chance to live their lives and the people in prison get a chance to do something good for the world :) It's just a happy thing that I thought I'd share...
