Hmmm...the question on everyone's mind now is do I have a cat...nope. Joshua is majorly allergic to cats, and partially to dogs too, so it's nice to have a little pet that won't get him sick :) The mouse is doing just fine! He's a really scaredy cat though...erm...scaredy mouse ;) We will probably get him a little cage sometime in the future, but I'm starting to think that maybe we should buy a mouse or hamster that is used to being handled and won't be so scared of us! I know it's only been two days since we've had him, but I just don't know if it's possible for him to get used to us and like us :( He is a little cutie though...OH!! And his name now is "Baby Jack" :) We should call him "Jumpin' Jack" for the amount of jumps he does to get away from our hands! lol Back to the cage situation, Sandee, he is in a big glass jar right now. Tim poked a bunch of holes in the lid for air and he has some nice pine shavings in there as well :) I've been replacing his food each day so far. I gave him some Ritz crackers, sliced carrots and American cheese the first night. The next morning we found that the only thing he had touched was the carrots, and the remaining piece of carrot was just so cute!! lol I had cut them into little circle slices (baby carrots) and you could tell that he had probably held the circle in his little hands and eaten in like that. It as in a little crescent moon shape when he was done...too cute! Okay...guess you had to be there ;) Thanks for the idea of uploading pics Felicia! I'll see if Tim can take a few digitals this weekend :)

Well, we did it...we went shopping yesterday...ugh... It was quite the tiring experience too. I hate not being able to walk around on the biggest shopping day of the year!!!! lol We went to Michael's because I was going to purchase some rubber stamps to make my own Christmas cards this year, but Tim thought it's be easier to just purchase them instead. So, we bought some pony beads and colored feathers for Abby. She is really into pipe cleaners right now. She likes to make birds out of them and uses the little, brightly colored craft feathers for the head! I told her yesterday that I thought she could make some bracelets with the pipe cleaners too, so we bought some really cool glow in the dark pony beads, glitter ones, and then a bunch of single colored ones :) She started playing with all of her goodies as soon as we got home last night :)

So, after Michael's we went to lunch at an awesome Chinese restaurant and then Tim dropped me off at Target and Abby stayed with me. That place was a MAD HOUSE!!! I was on the motorized wheel chair and poor Abby had to walk. She eventually ended up on my lap and then on the floor between my feet! It was a pretty cramped fit down there too...poor girl :( Target was just soooo crowded, and there were so many people who just parked their carts where ever and blocked my way...grrrrr I got to where I wasn't so curtious anymore and I would just push my way through crowds. Rude people....double grrrrrrrr.... All of the things I wanted to look at ended up being in the majorly grid-locked areas so I just found some Christmas cards and then headed over to the makeup isles. I love makeup, so I was pretty happy there :)

My poor foot was soooooo swollen at the end of the day, and I think I'll have to have it up all day today to make up for it. I actually slept upstairs with Tim last night! In the past six months, I've only slept up there maybe four times! I've been on this rocker/recliner/love seat most nights, and sometimes I'll sleep on our big purple couch. So, my back is REALLY our of whack now I guess. When I try to sleep on a regular mattress is just KILLS ME!!!! I tossed and turned alllll night last night and this morning. I finally just had to get up and come down here to sit. My shoulders, neck and back are going to be sore today...I just know it :( I don't know what to do now. The bed kills me, but I HAVE TO get used to sleeping on a bed again...I don't want to sleep on a recliner the rest of my life!! lol This is NOT going to be a fun transition...

It's all rainy here today...I LOVE IT!! lol It's all gloomy and cold :)
