I had my first check-up appointment with the plastic surgeon this morning. It went really well! I was really nervous about the pain of him removing certain things from the surgery site, but it really didn't hurt that badly. Nothing compared to some of the pain I've had since May 19th...that oh-so magical day that I busted my ankle. Okay, anyway, the skin graft is looking great BUT the flap that he did isn't. Part of it is dead! Eeeeek!! He's hoping that the flesh underneath will be healthy though. We just have to sit around and wait a bit to see what it's going to do. He put the splint back on me and told me to keep my foot up again. I go back this next Friday for my next check up. I am allowed to have my foot down for 20 minutes or so...perfect for unloading and loading the dishwasher ;)
You know, I had been stressing for the past few months over the dreadful pop-up windows on my graphics site and the Lord has taken care of all of those worries for me in just the past two weeks! First, the wonderful and generous Jaya gave me space on her site and today, another awesome friend, Miss Leigh, gave me some space at the Divas of Design site!!! All of this space is advertising free!!!! Woohoo!!!! Happy dance time :) Leigh is working on getting Front Page to work on the DOD site. Once that is all figured out I'll be able to store more of my sets over there! I'm so excited...thank you again ladies!!!
I've been doing some counted cross stitch surfing today :) There are so many kits I'd like to order, but they are soooo expensive! Sheesh! I really don't NEED to order anything though. I have TONS of x-stitch magazines, leaflets and books already and the thread and fabric to go along with them! The problem is, all of those goodies are out in the garage and I am unable to get out there to find them. I don't think Tim would be able to find much stuff either. He'd end up having to bring everything I own inside for me to sort though it! I would like to start another project soon though. We'll see :)
I posted a new linkware set tonight! I used a picture that Tim took of a freaky spider that was in our backyard this last Spring. Wanna see? And, today's...eh-hem...*tonight's* aortal link is Fountain...some awesome fonts!! Enjoy :)
