My Abeka stuff should be arriving any day now!! I received an order comfirmation e-mail on Tuesday :) I took the kids to Awana last night by myself. Joshua is going to be in Sparks this year instead of a second year of Cubbies. I went to the parents meeting for Sparks and it really sounds like A LOT of work compared to Cubbies. I'm not too sure how well Josh will do with this. Abigail will be doing her second year of Cubbies. I talked with one of the leaders about putting Abby in Sparks too and they recommended that I leave her in Cubbies because of her age. The thing is, of my two kids, she is the one who actually enjoys learning and memorizing the verses. Josh would rather be off playing and gets kind of upset at times when I even mention having to work on our Awana verse for the week. The Sparks memorize two or three verses a week!! So, this extra amount of work at Awana mixed with me homeschooling is really going to be an adjustment for me! I'll need to come up with a really good schedule and have the discipline to stick to it. At the same time, I must have a really good attitude about everything too so that it will be fun for the kids and especially Josh :) Please pray for me!!!

I've also decided to attend the Tuesday morning ladies' Bible study this year instead of the Wednesday night one. For now at least... The Sparks are really in need of some extra help so I want to try to volunteer there. If it ends up being too much to get out with the kids on both Tuesdays & Wednesdays I might just drop the Tuesday engagement.

I'm meeting Sara at McDonald's today for lunch! So, I better scoot and go get ready :)
