Ugh...yesterday was SUCH a busy day! We left the house around 7am and didn't get back home until 7:45pm!! I took Tim to drop his car off at the shop again and then drove him to work. The kids and I went to Crocket Park first thing and I thought I was going to DIE!!! I parked as closely as I could to the park, but it just wasn't close enough. It was only 9am, and it was sooooo hot and humid. I had to hobble across a dusty parking lot and then up a pretty long sidewalk to get to the park. NOT fun... This is something that would normally only take me two or three minutes to do, but it took me 10-15 minutes on crutches!! Unfortunately, I've decided that I'm not going to be going back to the park until I can walk on my own. It just isn't worth it... So after that, we went to Walmart Supercenter and I was able to ride around in one of their handy dandy motor wheelchairs! Of course the kids were running all around me and I almost ran them over a few times. After purchasing our goodies (toilet paper & dishwasher liquid) we headed on over to McDonald's to meet Sara and the kids! The play area was cram-packed so we were unable to sit in there. This was good though because it made the kids eat all of their food instead of taking a bite, running to play and then coming back for another bite...dirty hands and all ;) Well, after playtime was over, I decided that I wanted to get my hair cut. It's been so dead and limp for the past two months and I really wanted some layers cut in. The poor kids by this time are wanting to just go home. They actually did really well at the hair place. Sara had given them some little gifts that she had bought on her vacation a few weeks ago so they were entertained. I got my hair cut...all of them...and then swung by Starbucks for a white chocolate Frappuchino....MMMMMmmmmmmmmm LUV the stuff ;) By this time it was going on 3:30pm and I called Tim to see if he was able to get off work yet. He was so I headed over there. We then spent the next four hours shopping for a tv armoire for the living room. After all of this, we've decided to not buy one after all and to just leave the tv where it is, in the tv room upstairs. The poor kids were so exhausted and tired of being out on the town and I was quite sore from being on crutches all freaking day. We headed home and had a snack. The kids went on to bed and we chatted with Zee for a while. Ugh...it was a fun day, but oh so tiring.... My body is so drained. Okay, enough griping.
