I am sooooo stuffed!! Daddy is here right now, so we all went out to Logan's Roadhouse for dinner and had some deelish steak! Valerie and I were full after eating the rolls and our soup & salad...but we stuffed down as much steak as we could ;) Abby ordered steak tips with french fries and Josh went for the chicken tenders with fries. Abby is a real carnivore! The only bad thing about the night was that I slipped twice on the way to our table!!! This restaurant is the kind that you can just throw your peanut shells all over the floor and leave'em there. Luckily, both times that my crutches slipped I was near something and could either hop to it or grab on to it. It was very scary and WAY too embarassing!! I won't be going there again until I can walk without the crutches...

Speaking of walking. I haven't shared with everyone yet about my ankle troubles this week. If you get grossed out easily, stop reading here. I thought my "dead skin" incision might be infected so I went to the doctor on Tuesday. He looked at it and said it was in the beginning stages and then proceeded to rip off the nice big, hard scab I had formed over the wound!! I was totally freaked! He then went and got some scissors and cut the rest off.... I was on the verge of crying during this time, and I would have if Abby hadn't been in the room with me. I didn't want to scare her. So, they then send me over to the plastic surgeon's office and he cut on me some more. I DID cry this time, and both kids were there, holding my hand and helping me. They were so sweet! So, here's the deal...I now have an actual hole on the top of my ankle and I have to scrub it out twice a day and I have this Nugauze stuff that I dip in medicine and stuff into the hole. Pretty tantalizing, eh? It hurts like the dickens to do...especially in the morning. I've found though that if my foot is swollen enough it is a pretty painless procedure. Which, at night time my foot is usually pretty puffy. I am also on some antibiotics. Ugh...so there's the scoop on my foot.

My arms are particularly sore tomorrow and I am particularly tired as well...I really don't feel like hopping to church. The crutches were really painful this evening. We'll see how I am in the morning though. Better scoot for now...ta ta!
