A big THANK YOU to everyone who either e-mailed me or commented below to wish me a happy birthday ;) You guys are grrrreat!

I took a little break from bloggin' this weekend. My birthday went pretty well. As I mentioned on Friday, Tim took the kids to the store to get some gifts for me. Saturday morning he took them upstairs and had them wrap them. They used brown packing paper and decorated it with markers...it's so adorable!!! I received a pack of scented gel pens from Joshua, and a pack of glitter gel pens from Abigail. Tim bought one of those small, black, wire bound journal books with the black paper inside for me. It came with some groovy stencils and stickers....woohoo!!! I love the girly shtuff ;) Tim went and bought some donuts for us for breakfast and they sang happy birthday to me. I wish I could have recorded the kids singing it. Such sweet little voices :(

I've been thinking about how much the kids are growing up recently, and it's depressing me. I've been looking at pics we've taken over the past five years and they have changed so much! Abby especially... Josh tends to just get taller each year, and his face really stays pretty much the same. Abby has that long blonde hair that I've seen go from itty bitty little pig tails to long flowy curls and it just reminds me that she is growing up so fast. Okay...enough about the kids. Depressing, depressing, depressing!!!

So, Tim and I worked on cleaning and organizing the house on Sunday! We were going to make our debut at church (haven't been since I broke the ankle back in May :( but he was tired, I was tired and my foot was giving me a lot of problems yesterday. I won't go into any details because I don't want to gross anyone out. So we stayed here. Tim actually did the most work yesterday. I was only able to handle wearing the air cast for a short while yesterday, so I did most of my work in the kitchen. I'm almost finished with it. It's on my list of things to do today ;) I can't believe Valerie will be here next Sunday!!! Time has really flown by a lot faster this Summer than I thought it would!
